Chapel Hill Residence is a large family home set in a forest clearing in North Carolina. It is designed to be a welcoming dwelling that reveals itself in layers. Indoor/outdoor connections are utilized throughout the project in ways that bring in abundant natural light. Edges are smoothed, and in-between spaces become important for everyday life and highlights of the design.
